Former Bayelsa State Governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, is dead. The Bayelsa State Commissioner for Information, Esueme Dan-Kikili, confirmed that the former governor died of cardiac arrest on Saturday. He reportedly slipped into a coma two days ago and was placed on life support.
