I think it is a great honour for these beautiful songtresses, Beyounce and Rihana.
University of Texas had already agreed that they will not only listen to Beyonce and Rihana's song just to have fun or compare the roles of these songtresses in popular culture, but will also study them as a course in the university.
The students will study how the music videos, actions, expressions and lyrics of Beyonce and Rihana express different aspects of black feminism namely violence, economic opportunity, standards of beauty, sexuality, and creative self-exoression. Beyonce Feminism and Rihana Womanism are the new courses the school added in their curriculum. The courses will be available by April 2015.
According to the compilations, the courses ''Hopes for students to understand the role black feminism plays in culture and everyday life.Rutgers University is already offering Beyonce cou "Politicizing Beyonce."
There are still other Universities offering courses on celebrities such as: Georgetown University.....Jay-Z (Sociology) and Havard University offers a course on Tupac Shakur.
