RECs Allay Fears On Card Readers

The Resident Electoral Commissioners for Edo and Ondo states, Mike Igini and Olusegun Agbaje respectively have allayed fears in some quarters that the planned use of card readers for the voter accreditation exercise during the 2015 general elections would be time consuming and could adversely affect the credibility of the polls.
While demonstrating the process for the use of the card readers o AIT's current affairs programme, Focus Nigeria on Thursday, the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner for Edo State, Mike Igini assured Nigerians that the process would work successfully within minutes.
His Ondo state counterpart said the card readers are not susceptible to manipulations.
