Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, has revealed that he feels excited to be back to the Super Eagles fold, after a successful season in England and wants to cap his return with his first international goal.
He further revealed that he has put the disappointment of not living up to the hype against Uganda and south Africa, when he was expected to replicate his club form for the National team.
The Watford striker is one among three foreign based to arrive the Eagles camp.
‘ To be back in the national team is a great privilege and to cap it with promotion for my to the Premier League, am happy and I thank God for that.
‘ I’ve put the disappointment of my debut behind me, those game were obviously going to be difficult because we had several new players in camp and trained just once. But its no excuse because we did our best, I went back to my club and kept scoring goals.
‘ Am back now and I hope I’d be able to get my first goal for Nigeria next weekend,’ the striker told www.footballlive.ng
