Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday attended a reception hosted by the Minister-President of the State of Bavaria, Germany, as part of the activities of the G7 Summit.
President Buhari is in Germany to meet with heads of government of the G7 nations who are holding a summit in Munich.
At the cocktail reception held at the Munich residence, were the UN Secretary General Mr Ban Ki Moon, the Foreign Minister of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
The Nigerian will present a “wish list” to the Group of Seven (G7) industrialised countries in meetings scheduled to hold between him and heads of governments attending a summit of the group in Germany.
Top on the list is Nigeria’s security challenges.
The G7 had, before President Buhari was sworn in, asked him to prepare a shopping list and come with it for their consideration in what is seen as an excellent goodwill gesture towards the new leader and Nigeria.
