Kanye West will have yet another reason to be compared to Michael this weekend, as the "Good Life" artist will be honored with the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at MTV's Video Music Awards.
Like Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, and the King of Pop before him, Ye will receive the prestigious honor for contiunously breaking through the mold with his innovative work through the years.
The 2015 VMAs will air on Sunday, August 30th, which happens to be when West's groundbreaking sophomore album, Late Registration, turns 10.
