Attention Yeezus: You may have just received another celebrity endorsement.
It's been exactly one week since Kanye West's epic MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech where he made just a minor announcement to his fans. You know, the whole he's running for President in the 2020 election.
Once the news spread like wildfire, Ice Cube was asked if the "All Day" rapper can count on his vote. His answer may just surprise you.
"I'm voting for Kanye. Why not?" the Straight Outta Compton star told the Daily Mail. "Who's better than Kanye to run?"
Sounds like a loyal supporter, right? So does this mean Ice Cube would consider being his running mate? Not so fast, everyone.
"No, I'm not into politics like that," he said as his son O'Shea Jackson Jr. began laughing. "I'm into helping my people get over the hump. I ain't got time to help everybody. We got a lot of work to do."
Besides, didn't Taylor Swift already tap-tap the position after West delivered her flowers?
While some people really are still questioning if Yeezus is for real, we can't stop recalling his acceptance speech that still has social media in an uproar.
"It's about ideas bro, new ideas. People with ideas, people who believe in truth," West shared with the MTV audience. "And yes, as you could have guessed by this moment, I have decided, in 2020, to run for President."
As for Kim Kardashian becoming the First Lady of the United States, Ice Cube again doesn't see a problem with it.
"It's cool. If that's what it is, that's what it is," he explained. "No matter who is the President, you gotta all get up and go to work in the morning."
