Beautiful Toyin Aimakhu-Johnson is an actress and producer, known for Itan (2008), Onilara (2008) and Igberaga (2009). She has been married to Adeniji
Johnson since July 8, 2013. They have one child.
We remember her today being her birthday...
The Diva was born September 5, 1984 in Auchi, a town in Edo state in
Southern Nigeria but spent her early life in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state.
She obtained a Higher National Diploma Certificate in Marketing before she
proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University, where she received a Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Philosophy.
She began acting in 2003, when Bukky Wright visited Ibadan to shoot a
movie and gave her a trial in a movie directed by Tope Idowu. Over the
years, she has produced and featured in several Nigerian films. In 2013 she
was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in a movie titled
Ebimi Ni at the Best of Nollywood Awards.
She never wanted to be an actress but a physiotherapist because she loves
attending to people and taking care of them. Married to Adeniyi Johnson,
when asked how she combines acting with her married life she said ‘‘lots
of people judge you because of what they see in the movies, they don’t
understand that it’s just a job. There is a sort of stigma on actresses.
Being an actress does not affect my married life at all.
Happy Birthday Diva looking forward to know more about you esoecially how you feel about your new age.
