Barack Obama is an observant Liverpool fan who have grown more a keen to watching Liverpool more often this season and said to have called on phone, America Liverpool FC owner John W Henry to ask him lots of questions about Liverpool and the away trip to Old Trafford on September 12.
According to John Henry, Barack Obama seemed to be wondering if Daniel Sturridge would be fit enough to start the upcoming away match against bitter rivals Manchester United and wanted to know about his fitness, those who are injured or will miss the game through suspension.
The President though was more interested on the fitness of Daniel Sturridge and admitted to John Henry he read lots of sports papers and blogs online about Liverpool and was unable to get a reliable source from any paper about Sturridge and decide to call and find out for himself.
