Achievers Corner-Blessing Okagbere in Guiness Book of records 2016.

    Blessing Okagbare
    Blessing Okagbare is a Nigerian track and field athlete who specializes in long jumping and short sprints. She is an Olympic and World Championships medalist in the long jump, and a world medallist in the 200 metres.  She was born on October 9, 1988 and hails from Sapele, Delta state Nigeria.
    Her height is about 1.80 m and she weights  68 kg, she got married to  Mr. Igho Otegheri in  2014.
    Blessing studied at the  University of Texas at El Paso.
    Olympic medals: Athletics at the 2008 Summer Olympics - Women's Long Jump.
    Blessing Okagbare was honoured with an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records for 2016. She made it to the 2016 Guinness Book of World record as the athlete with the most diamond league appearances. She has participated in 38 diamond league events in 2015, higher than any other athlete in the world – according to the records. The IAAF Diamond League is an annual series of track and field meetings held from 2010 till date and billed to hold again in London by 2016.... 

    Dutch athlete, Dafne Schippers, at 10.92s, beat Okagbare – who clocked 10.98s – to the IAAF Diamond league trophy.
    She made us proud.
