According to reports, Sunshine Stars FC have identified 3SC captain, Seun Akinyemi as their top transfer target ahead of next season. Akinyemi, who is spending his fifth season at 3SC; after his return from Crown FC of Ogbomoso, was instrumental in the Oluyole Warriors campaign last season.
Reports claim the Akure Gunners have sent representatives to the player to consider switching camp, but there are fears that the Ibadan Club may not listen to offers because of Ajani Ibrahim transfer saga.
3SC had a long battle with Sunshine Stars last season over the transfer involving Ajani and it took the League Management Company’s intervention before the player was allowed to switch camp for a fee of five million Naira.
It is beleived club’s including Akwa United and Rangers have re-opened their long time interest in him too.
The right full-back became 3SC’s captain last season and reports suggest that a host of continental teams are making attempts to swoop for the best players of 3SC.
