Nigeria’s Eagles B handlers will decide the complexion of the team based on the performance of players in Thursday’s tune up game against Starlight Club.
Jean Francois Loscuito oversaw the Eagles B side ease past the Abuja based amateur team. Three different goal scorers got their names on the score sheet as Nigeria continue their preparation towards the 4th edition of the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
Speaking with footballlive.ng Loscuito described the team’s cohesion and the players ability to interprete the match strategy. The stand-in Coach stressed his satisfaction with the progress of the players.
‘ The players impressed in the tune game not just because of the result, but also based on their cohesion and technical ability shown by some players.
‘ The coaches discussed the improvements and we have identified some players and things that will affect how we set up the team in Rwanda.’
