Leicester are continuing to pursue a deal for CSKA Moscow and Nigeria International, Ahmed Musa amid concerns Sampdoria centre-forward Eder wishes to stay in Italy but the Russian club is grandstanding.Claudio Ranieri is determined to add a striker to his squad this window and is keeping his options open on a number of targets.
Sampdoria accepted a £10million bid for Italy international Eder and talks are ongoing with the player’s agent, but Inter are also expecting negotiations to take place on Thursday.
Musa, 23, has scored 10 goals in 29 games this season in Russia and 11 times in 56 appearances for Nigeria.
CSKA have rejected a £15.1m offer from Leicester, holding out for a fee closer to their £18.9m valuation.
