Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, is a Governor of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria, in office since 29 May 2015. He ran successfully for the office of Governor in the April 2015 elections on the platform of People's Democratic Party PDP. But his election was nullified when Uwana Okon, the APC governorship candiddaye challenged him court and the appeal court in Abuja nullified the election and ordered a re-run in 18 Local Government Areas.
