I took some time today to go round our city to thank the people and residents of Rivers State for both voting for me as Governor and standing by me all through our pursuit for justice.
I owe you all a huge debt of gratitude. Thank you for standing with me. Thank you for the support. As your Governor, entrusted with your overwhelming mandate, I assure you of nothing short of good governance for the confidence reposed in me.
The ultimate glory goes to God. The victory at the Supreme Court as I said earlier is a victory for democracy and the rule of law. Nigeria is better because of it. I thank you all.
