Well , in this 21st century with its crazy economic challenges, who will blame them ? Who wouldn't like and appreciate an extra helping hand?
Having said that , my brothers, to avoid surprises that will lead to hate , regrets and resentments after marrying the working class , have something doing sister ! Make sure you know her values and beliefs about a woman's financial role in the family .
That a woman is working is one thing ; and that a woman is willing to contribute financially in her relationship is another thing.
Unfortunately , a lot of our Nigerian sisters still believe in 2016 ; that it is a man's sole responsibility to take care of the family .
As crazy as this might sound , some men actually share this belief . They feel that part of what makes you a man is to do it all financially in your home.
If you are one of those men , there is absolutely no problem.
But on the other hand, if you are marrying her because she is working and technically will support you ; please don't just assume , make sure she is actually that type ,that is willing to contribute , to avoid future problems!
Brothers , please don't marry based on the assumption that after all she is working , and should contribute ! It does not necessarily work like that ! You better ask somebody !
There is nothing wrong with looking for a supportive partner , but be sure that you two have the same mindset !
