An attorney for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend says he
hopes new details about what led to her death puts to rest “all the negativity”
that surrounds his client.
The 22-year-old daughter of singers Whitney Houston and
Bobby Brown was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her suburban
Atlanta townhome in early 2015 and died in hospice care about six months later.
A medical examiner says Bobbi Kristina Brown’s face was
immersed in water and she had cocktail of drugs in her system, which led to her
death.
The medical examiner says investigators could not determine
if the death was accidental or intentional, or if it was a suicide or homicide.
Randy Kessler, an attorney for boyfriend Nick Gordon, said
he wasn’t surprised by the findings, and that Gordon has “always maintained his
innocence.”

Bobby Brown says it’s “unsettling” and “mind blowing” that
autopsy results are being made public in the death of his daughter, Bobbi
Kristina Brown.

A medical examiner says Bobbi Kristina Brown’s face being
immersed in water, along with drug intoxication, led to her death last year.
Authorities say the official cause was pneumonia.
In a statement released by his lawyer early Friday, Bobby
Brown said he will continue efforts with a civil lawsuit in her death and the
criminal investigation.
Brown said he remains hopeful that “public indictments and
prosecution” will come about in the case.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office in Atlanta says
the official cause of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death was pneumonia caused by her
face being immersed in water and “drug intoxication.”
The medical examiner’s office said early Friday that
marijuana and alcohol were found in her system, along with medications used for
sedation or to treat anxiety.
The medical examiner said morphine was also found, adding
that testing could not determine whether the morphine resulted from heroin use.
