That's the invitation |
The crowd in the large hall was ecstatic and applauded all through the programme. A young Imo graduate who was in my office with her CV, having unsuccessfully hunted for job for two years, was also watching. She was suddenly overtaken by emotion and started sobbing. She had spotted somebody she knows among the 'happy' crowd.
"That woman teaches in the same school as my mum and they have not been paid for seven months and she is here cheering Owelle. ..maybe for just two thousand naira", she bemoaned.
There was silence in my office. Somehow, I felt the other visitors might also thinking what I was thinking: who did this to the once-great people of Imo State from where I married?

Okorocha is the dirtiest of all the thieves that ve ruled imo state since 1999 mark my word all of them will beg for food one day.
