Nigeria cruised past Denmark, 2-0 in the quarter-final with captain Mikel Obi scoring the opener and Aminu Umar wrapping it up for the team. The absence of top scorer, Oghenekaro Etebo did not deter the team and Odigie expressed confidence in the quality of the team to go as far as playing for gold.
