Nigeria Football Federation’s Club Licensing Manager, Nasiru Jibril has confirmed that neither Gbolahan Salami, Oghenekaro Etebor nor Azubuike Egwuekwe transferred on the deadline day otherwise the NFF would have captured it.
The trio played for Warri Wolves last season in the NPFL and all have sort for moves away from the domestic scene.
Salami abandoned the Super Eagles B camp ahead of the CHAN 2016, Etebo declared he’ll not return to the League after a successful campaign at the 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
Egwuekwe had been frozen out of the national team by the new handler and none of the players seemed to have applied the requisite measures to secure their deals.
In a chat with footballlive.ng Jibril stressed the need for stakeholders in the Sport to get things done in the right way.
