BRITISH BLUES- ROCKER SINGER JOECOCKER HAS DIED AT THE AGE OF 70.


The singer who was popularly known for the hit song “You Are SoBeautiful” and the duet “Up Where We Belong,” died Monday after a battle with lung cancer.
Fellow colleagues upon hearing the news of the legend’s demise, tookto Twitter to show compassion. One of which is The Beatle’s drummer Ringo Starr. He tweeted, “Goodbye and Godbless to Joe Cocker from one of his friends peace and love.”
Cocker began as a singer in England at the same time asthe Beatles, with whom he was often linked. He played pubs across the country in a series of rock bands before he and his Grease Bandrecorded “With a Little Help From My Friends” in 1968 with Jimmy Page, Steve Winwood and others.
