Problems only make Barcelona stronger, says Jordi Alba

The Spain international is confident the Camp Nou side will overcome their recent struggles and has called for unity
Jordi Alba believes
Barcelona's recent problems will only make them stronger in the long term and has insisted it's crucial they stick together.
The Catalans have been plagued by internal problems in recent weeks as they fired sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta, with club icon Carles Puyol consequently deciding to leave his post as his assistant director of football as well.
Furthermore, president Josep Maria Bartomeu announced earlier this week that presidential elections will take place this year rather than in 2016 among ongoing unrest about his own position.
On top of all that, star player Lionel Messi has fallen out with head coach Luis Enrique, with the latter telling the club's board of directors to make a choice between the two.
Nevertheless, Alba has urged for calm amid the chaos and believes Barca will eventually get out of their current predicament stronger.
"Barcelona have always had great unity and what happened will only make us stronger," Alba was quoted as saying on the official Barcelona website.
"I respect all opinions, but I think it's vital we all need to stick together.
"Luis Enrique has already said that everything is fine among the players.
"What we say in the dressing room stays in the dressing room. Whether that means Leo or any other player..."
