Jimmy Henchman Gets Second Life Sentence For Murder Of G-Unit Affiliate

James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond has been hit with another life sentence.
A Manhattan federal judge sentenced Rosemond, who is already serving a life sentence for cocaine trafficking, to a second life term for his December conviction as a mastermind in the 2009 murder of G-Unit affiliate, Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher. The murder was a possible result of an incident involving Tony Yayo assaulting Henchman’s then-14-year-old son, authorities said.
Rosemond targeted Fletcher for his association with G-Unit, which Rosemond happened to be feuding with. In 2007, Yayo allegedly spotted the teen wearing a shirt promoting his father’s company (Czar Entertainment) and as reports have it, pushed him against a wall and smacked him. Police sources say 50 Cent and others in the G-Unit crew were reportedly around when the altercation occurred.
For two years following the incident, Rosemond was said to have vowed revenge and in 2009, following several failed attempts (drive-by shootings aimed at G-Unit associates, including one outside the Hot 97 radio station), he cashed in.
As reported by NYPost, prosecutors say the former Czar Entertainment mogul paid off Brian “Slim” McCleod with a “slab” of cocaine worth $30,000 to coax Fletcher to a Bronx street corner, where Derrick “D” Grant shot and killed him.
Judge Colleen McMahon described Rosemond’s crimes as “heinous” and assured “there’s nothing I can do to alter your fate.”
