Outgoing Sports minister, Dr. Tamuno Danagogo has admitted he harbours no regrets as his tenure draws to a close in less than a month’s time.

“I do not think I have any regret; one thing I stand for and I will always stand for is that when I go into a system, I try to better it” he told footballlive.ng.
Danagogo, 45, is a native of Abonnema, in Akuku Toru local Government area of Rivers State and was appointed Minister of Sports in March 2014.
“When I got into the National Sports Commission (NSC), I took every step possible to correct whatever I noticed or saw as anomalies or retrogressive factors there and I think I did my best in that regard and I thank God for the opportunity given me to add the little I could” he continued.
Danagogo holds a master’s degree in Law from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology and in 2005; he proceeded to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he obtained his Doctor of Philosophy, PhD in Private and Public Law specializing in Human Rights and Disputes Settlement.
