Veteran coach and former Super Eagles coach Adegboye Onigbinde has revealed that the purpose of the establishment of the ongoing C-License coaching course in Abuja is in line with the Federation’s desire to implement what CAF has on its agenda. The agenda of the Confederation of African Football is to ensure that all coaches on the continent are graded accordingly.
Onigbinde also noted in a chat with footballlive.ng that the ongoing course in Nigeria will allow coaches and participants to be equipped with the relevant coaching courses that are obtainable anywhere in the world.
“The intention of CAF when we started this programme is to grade all African coaches in such a way that they will not only be qualified to coach in Africa but can go anywhere in the world with these qualifications and work because we integrated with the Uefa licensing courses”
“That’s why when you get to the Middle East now, you’ll find many Egyptian coaches working there and that’s what we envisaged”
