23 days before the U20 World Cup in New Zealand, former Flying Eagles player, Ibrahim Babangida insists the competition will be tough for Nigeria and not as easy as many stakeholders believe.
” Age grade competitions especially the u20s and u23s, often prove to be very tough. The quality of the opposition is quite good especially the European teams; if you consider the fact that most of the players are already playing as professionals in top club sides.
” So, I don’t think its going to be as easy as fans the Flying Eagles seem to believe. But I know Nigeria also has a good team and will hopefully do their best, I expect that much,” the former International told www.footballlive.ng.
