The new governor of Kaduna stateMallam Nasir El-Rufai has reduced his salary by 50%.
It sound very nice by hearing it, but to be honest state funds are not being siphoned through salary. They are being taken through contracts. We need accountability, development, not salary reduction.
If I may ask how much is his salary?
I don't agree with any office holder saying he or she is reducing his salary by 50%, some will get 1million% of that through the back. We don't need window shopping promised please.
He should make sure that whatever comes to the state, federal allocation or state generated fund should be used appropriately.
