A serious confusion rocks Bauchi state Government .

Bauchi state Gov. Barr. Muhammed Abdullahi Abubakar is planning to appoint his wife (Hajiya Hadiza Katsina) as Commissioner of Finance and his junior sister who is currently a director in Abuja to head Primary Education Board (SUPEB).

The Governor was quoted to have said, his wife, as a CBN staff for decades, possess all the needed financial knowledge to head the ministry.
Meanwhile the party stalwarts and stakeholders frowned their faces and kicked against the moves and said the administration is not a friends and family affair.

Jang as a Special Adviser, Special Duties, then Chairman, Biometric Data
Capture Committee to authenticate the state’s 21, 000 workers and later a
Commissioner in the ministry of Lands & Urban Planning.
What is wrong with a President, Governor, Chairman or any elected official
appointing their family members into any office provided such persons are
qualified for the appointment?
