As Imolites expects change: Professor Ukachukwu
Awuzie lost his job as the Vice Chancellor of Imo State University. Imo State
Governor Rochas Okorocha, sacked him and replaced him with Prof. Mrs. Adaobi Obasi,
Commissioner for Local Government Affairs. Imo State University needs people
who are in the academic system. Could the strike action be the reason for his
sack? Or his alleged solidarity to Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu who is said to be one of
those being considered as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
Tow national newspapers published a congratulatory message by Professor Awuzie, congratulating Chief Ogbonnaya Onu over the recent award of honorary doctorate degree to him by the Abia State University?

If these
were his reasons: Are they not supposed to ask for what belongs to them? I hope
the change in Imo is a positive one.
Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha might need a
course in tolerance and consistency
Prof. Ukachukwu Awuzie complained the they university is not generating enough funds and the government of the state is not funding the university properly.
