The man who triggered off the second bomb blast at Kyaddondo Rugby Club in 2010 killing several revellers, who were watching a World Cup final match, stunned court last Friday when he revealed that he too lost his maternal aunt in the same blasts.

Idris Nsubuga, who regretted the whole suicide mission, said little did he know that his terror acts would also claim the life of his very own aunt whom he identified only as Margaret.
Nsubuga, the second prosecution witness, was responding to a question put to him by one of the defence lawyers John Francis Onyango on whether he had a relative among the many people he killed at Kyaddondo Rugby Club.
"Yes, my very own maternal aunt was among those I killed at Kyaddondo…." A seemingly emotional Nsubuga replied during cross examination session.
Mr Nsubuga is a convict in this case and is serving a 25-year jail term at Kigo government prisons after he pleaded guilty to his participation in the twin bombings in July 2011
