No More Cash Money: Lil Wayne Signs With Jay-Z.

While performing at KMEL Summer Jam in the Bay Area, Lil Wayne decided to make a very special announcement to the crowd.

“I just signed a deal with my motherfucking idol, Jay Z,” Wayne declared to cheering fans.

Lil Wayne has been having all sorts of battle with his mentor and ‘daddy’, Birdman even suing Birdie to court and then dropping the lawsuit. At this point, however, it is not clear the terms of the deal and whether it is exclusive. It could be a deal with Roc Nation (which will mean leaving Cash Money), or a deal with Jay-Z’s Tidal streaming service.
