Obama, Cameron courting Buhari to endorse gay marriage – Legal Expert.

A renowned lawyer Ade Zaky has stated that following the early romance between President Muhammadu Buhari and President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, the west might be dangling the homosexual agenda for Nigeria which was jettisoned by the previous administration.

Zaky who stated this on Monday via an article ‘’Watch Out for that banana peel, Mr. President,” published by Leadership Newspaper disclosed that John Kerry, few days after Buhari’s inuaguration had penciled down three basic things as the President Buhari agenda for Nigeria; tackling the menace of insurgency, corruption, and what Kerry himself described as “equity.”

According to media reports, the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, also asked President Buhari to come to the G7 Summit scheduled for Berlin, Germany with Nigeria’s “wishlist.”

“Mr. President, caution! There is poison in this sugar-coated carrot. Watch, lest while enjoying its poisonous content with your eyes closed, you step on the banana peel placed before you,” Zaky warned.
“In 2006, 25 member countries of the United Nations (excluding Nigeria, thankfully), gathered in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and came up with a document entitled Yogyakarta Principles on the Application of International Human Rights Law in Relation to Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (simply called ‘The Yogyakarta Principles.’)

“The Yogyakarta Principles state that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and bestial rights are international human ‘rights’ which must be accorded recognition and acceptance by countries of the world.

“To give effect to this agenda, the Obama administration declared that the US was totally endorsing the UN’s support for de-criminalizing homosexuality in the whole world.

“In a presidential declaration on the matter on 28 May 2010, Obama stated, ‘Now, therefore, I, Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2010 as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride month.’

Reports also showed how David Cameron moved to whip the British Parliament in line with his sodomy agenda in line with Obama’s wish.

“On February 5, 2013, Britain approved same sex marriage in England and Wales by legislation, despite what the media termed as ‘massive rebellion against the Prime Minister,’” one of such reports stated.
Nick Clegg had declared, “I genuinely believe that we will look back on today as a landmark for equality in Britain.

“Tonight’s vote shows that Parliament is very strongly in favour of equal marriage. No matter who you are and who you love, we are equal. Marriage is about love and commitment, and it should no longer be denied to people just because they are gay.”
In Quebec, Canada, Government has formulated a policy barring citizens from openly rejecting gays and lesbians. France and other western countries are doing the same.

The renowned lawyer stated that one of the reasons former President Goodluck Jonathan lost his re-election bid was because of a decision not to legalise homosexuality.

In an apparent defiance of the pressure by Western interests, especially the United Kingdom, which has threatened to stop its financial assistance to any country that legislates against gay marriage, the Jonathan administration had passed the Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Bill.

In a veiled reference to the threat of the UK Government, the Former Senate President David Mark had said any country that would refuse the country any aid on account of the passage of the Bill should hold such aid, insisting that the practice of same sex marriage remains strange to the Nigerian cultural values and practices.

“Henceforth, people found guilty of indulging in same sex marriage risk a jail term of 14 years with no option of fine,” the lawmaker had stated.
Cameron threatened to withdraw British aid to all countries that fail to embrace homosexuality and lesbianism.

“This is an issue we are pushing for the moment. We are prepared to put some money behind what we believe.
“Britain is one of the premier aid givers in the world. We want to see countries that receive our aid adhering to proper human rights.

“We are saying that this is one of the things that determine our aid policy.”

According to Zaky, it was because of the passage of this law that the West worked against the re-election of Goodluck Jonathan in the presidential elections in March 2015.
