Former Nigeria captain Nwankwo Kanu has called on all Nigerians to support new Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, to ensure that he succeeds with the team, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Oliseh was unveiled on Wednesday in Abuja by the Nigeria Football Federation after the contract of Stephen Keshi was terminated on Saturday, July 4 2015.

Kanu also thanked former boss, Stephen Keshi for his service to the nation while he was in charge of the team.

Papilo bared his mind on Twitter.

“Congratulations Sunday Oliseh, wish you all the best. God will be with you.

“Let’s give him support. He needs to make our team the best in the world,”he stated

On Keshi, Papilo, a two-time African Footballer of the Year winner in 1996 and 1999 tweeted:

“Thank you Keshi, big boss. Good or bad, you’re a legend. We all have to give back to Nigeria, so let’s support and make our team the best.”

Oliseh will work with three assistants in his new job, Jean Francois Loscuito, Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu.
