The
nominations for the BET Hip Hop Awards were released September 15, and
when rapper/mogul 50 Cent found his colleague didn’t make the list, he
took to Instagram to vent his disappointment at the award for Video
Director of the Year. Eif Rivera, who directed his “9 Shots” video, was
not nominated.
In
a now deleted post, the rappers says, "where the fu** is Eif Rivera?”
50 Cent writes under a picture of him and Rivera with a stack of money.
“You have the same list ever year. SMH. wack”
This
year, the category includes Alan Ferguson, Benny Boom, Chris
Robinson/Lil Chris, Colin Tilley and Director X. Last year’s nominees
were Benny Boom, Chris Robinson, Director X, Dre Films and Hype
Williams, who took home the trophy, Hip Hop DX reports.
The 10th annual BET Hip Hop Awards will air October 13.
50
took aim at the 67th Emmy awards too, for failing to acknowledge
“Power” in categories that FOX’s hit drama series “Empire” is recognized
for. “Empire” received nods for Outstanding Costumes and Taraji P.
Henson is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
“Man
these people act like POWER ain’t sh*t,” 50 Cent writes under a picture
of the awards’ logo. “See why I be trippin? I saw that trophy in the
store for $20 bucks I’m gonna just go buy one f**k it.”
The 67th Emmy Awards are scheduled for September 20.
