Ogar received a letter bearing notice of her forced retirement alongside several others. The letter came from the new leadership of the agency. She is being forced out of the agency 7 years before she is due for retirement.
The new sheriff in the DSS says he is hell bent on giving the agency a new look and Ogar wasn’t considered as fitting into his plans.
She was a most controversial DSS spokesperson; one who was often accused of flagrant partisanship.
Ogar’s many sins also included receiving bribes from the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC) to supply lorry-loads of Dual Purpose Kerosene shortly before gubernatorial elections in Osun state, as unjust reward for her partisan dealings.
