The meeting, which is being held behind closed-doors, is assessing
the war against terror, the success and the challenges facing the
military.
The meeting is also looking at the December deadline given to the military to win the war against terror.
Recently,
Boko Haram terrorists have inflicted serious damage on residents of
Borno State as suicide bombers, through their activities in the
north-east, have left about a hundred dead in the last three months.
The meeting is coming days after the president reiterated his commitment to bringing an end to the activities of the Boko Haram in the north-east.
