Oliseh Arrives home-Eagles Camp In Port Harcourt This Night

It was a surprising mood in the home-based professionals’ camp on Friday, as Super Eagles head coach; Sunday Ogorchukwu Oliseh stormed the team’s camp ahead of tomorrow’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against the Stallion Stars of Burkina Faso in Port Harcourt.

Oliseh, who was initially ruled out for Saturday’s game owing to ill-health after the stress of the international friendlies in Belgium; showed up at the team’s Presidential Hotel in Port Harcourt on Friday night.

SRSport.com exclusively gathered that none of the officials knew the 41-year-old manager was coming around at Friday’s afternoon press conference. As a matter of fact, the coach went straight to his room on arrival, and was not ready to grant any interview from journalists who were eager to speak to him on sudden change of mind.

According to report, the scenario came as a big surprise to everybody in the team’s camp, basically because of the earlier report that confirmed the coach was not going to be available for the crucial CHAN qualifier against the West Africa neighbours, Burkina Faso on Saturday in Port Harcourt.

The game comes up 4:00pm at the 40,000 capacity Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Saturday.
