The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is rarely seen in public wearing a tiara. In fact, since her 2011 wedding to Prince William, Kate has only donned the royal jewels on four occasions which included her wedding day. In her latest tiara moment, Kate paid tribute to her husband’s late mother, Princess Diana.
The beautiful diamond tiara with pearl drops was one of Diana’s favorites, and she was frequently photographed wearing the piece, called the Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara. Kate Middleton wore it for the first time at the Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace. The Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara is only the third tiara that has graced the head of the duchess and only the fourth time the fashion-forward Duchess of Cambridge has worn a tiara to date.
