Lassa fever has killed two people in Ondo state, 30 people also quarantined.

I hope FG will fight against this Lassa fever the way they fought Ebola virus. May the gentle soul of Dr. Mrs. Adedavoh rest with the Lord Amen.

Dr. Adedavoh was the female medical doctor who gave her life while saving others from Ebola.

Two people have died in Ondo state following an outbreak of Lassa fever in the stat. 30 people who had contact with the victims when alive, have been quarantined in order to curtail any further spread.

The state Commissioner for Health, Dayo Adeyanju, and a team of health workers had since Wednesday been moving across the local governments of the state to raise awareness on the disease and educate residents on measures to check the outbreak.
