A man from Fruitland Park, Florida has been arrested after reportedly becoming angry at his wife and using her as a mop to clean up a mess on the floor after attempting to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
The bizarre charge of abuse occurred while Keith Davidson attempted to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, according to Metro. Davidson became irate when he realized there was no jam for the sandwich, upon which he ‘turned into a monster’, according to his wife. Hoping to prevent the tirade from escalating, Davidson’s wife attempted to put the peanut butter away and move on. However, she knocked over a glass of milk, spilling it to the floor. That is when Davidson’s anger turned dangerous and bizarre, according to WESH TV.
“When I went to go grab the peanut butter, I hit the cup of milk. The cup of milk fell on the floor,”
Davidson’s temper got the best of him as he grabbed his wife, ripped off her shirt, and threw her to the ground, using her head as a mop to clean up the mess. A call to 911 captured the victim’s side of the abuse as she screamed at her husband after having enough, refusing to be harmed any more by Davidson.
She could be heard responding to her Davidson after he asked her why she was yelling.
“Because you ripped my shirt off and threw me on the floor. That’s why I’m yelling,. To use me as a dish mop, it’s not the first, not the second, not the third time. But I can’t take no more,”
The dispatcher was able to ask Davidson why he used his wife’s head as a mop, to which he responded it was food related.
“She threw my peanut butter and jelly on the floor,”
