Last month, All progressive Congress (APC) members suspended senator Shehu Sani from his ward named Tudun Wada ward, they claimed he was working against their governor, , Nasir El Rufai.
The vice chairman of APC and zonal chairman North West, Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir said the ward chairman had written to the national body distancing himself from the report, they said this while speaking to journalists at the Northwest Zonal meeting of the party yesterday January 11th, 2016.
“We wish to state here that the purported suspension is invalid and not binding and is of no effect, the right procedure was not followed, and the national body is in receipt of a letter from the ward chairman dissociating himself from the suspension and giving an insight into the matter.
