19-year-old Michael Sandford, was arrested on Saturday 18th of June 2016, for allegely trying to disarm a police officer at Donald Trump Rally on Saturday. According to the authorities, Cops arrested a 19-year-old man who tried snatching a Las Vegas officer’s duty gun during a Donald Trump rally Saturday.
The suspect, Michael Sandford, attempted to disarm a uniformed Las Vegas cop while feigning interest in an autograph from the officer working the Republican’s campaign event at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.
Nearby officers thwarted the attempted gun theft and quickly apprehended Sandford.
It’s unclear when the potentially violent encounter took place during the rally inside the hotel’s Mystere Theater packed with a sea of diehard Trump supporters.
Local cops handed Sandford over to the Secret Service, who did not respond to Daily News calls requesting comment.

As of late Saturday, Sandford had not been booked into a Clark County jail that handles a majority of arrests along the busy gambling strip.
A young protester wearing a Trump 2016 sticker was booted from the rally by Las Vegas police, but he was not immediately identified.
Trump then departed Nevada for a second rally in Phoenix, Arizona, where police cited two people for alcohol consumption.
