Minster of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung has appealed to the world football governing body, FIFA to consider an upward review of the budgetary allocation to the NFF because of the potentials the country holds in the Sport as well as its potentials.
Dalung made the call at the reception held in honor of the visiting President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, on Sunday.
The minister implored the newly elected FIFA President to put in a few good words on behalf of Nigeria for more funding because, he argues, that the current budgetary allocation to the NFF is ‘too small compared to Nigeria’s population of youth footballers.’
