President of the Nigeria Football Referees Association Tade Azeez has stated that the association will meet with the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation over the recent spate of attacks on match officials in the league and cup competition.
Following another incident in the Federation cup round of 16 game between FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Katsina in Ilorin, Azeez told footballlive.ng that the referees’ body will await for the FA’s response before deciding on their next course of action.
