A German pilot spent over 12 hours stuck in a tree after rescuers were unable to reach him.
The pilot of an ultralight aircraft crash-landed into a tree in south-western state of Baden-Wuerttemberg on Monday, about 30km east of Stuttgart.
Police said he was suspended 30m above ground, and had to be abandoned at nightfall because of the risk that the plane and pilot falling to the ground.
However, the 59-year-old pilot was rescued on Tuesday. He had
no injuries.
