Must a Nigerian Woman Marry a Billionaire or Be Up To 30-Years-Old Or More To Have Good Life?

To many people in Nigeria, for a woman to qualify to leave in her own house, have a good life, drive her own car and have other good things of life she must be  either married or up to 30-years-old or more than that. If you achieve those things before the age of 30, it means you lied about your age, that is: you are more than 30-years-old but pretends to be less. 

If she has those things mentioned above, without a husband, that one is another palaver,  they will attribute it to so many things such as: she sleeps around with men, men are giving her money to acquire those things, she is too wild, her eyes has opened so much, no one will marry her again. Even if she will get married, she will marry an old man, a small boy she can control, an old man, or a gold digger who will just eat her money and use the rest of it to run after young women outside his matrimonial home.

People who indulge in this kind of cheap talk are those praying for their own sisters to be rich before the age of 25, get married and have children before the age 25. They sing praises about their sister who are busy making peanuts or probably making the peanut through the popular oldest profession in the world.

The sad part is that, most people who say such things are the so called educated people in our society, even when it is obvious the woman is doing a good decent job. When you are idle, it is another problem altogether. They will make life a living hell for you. They will say all kinds of things just to the lady and at the end of the day; they still want to see her in a dark room.

Such things get into the heads of well-meaning young men, they get scared when they see a decent hard working lady. They ideas they get make them shy away from the truth and they will end up marrying the wrong person and they will live to regret it for the rest of their lives. This one one of the reasons infidelity is common in this country. They marry who they do not want to marry and stil miss the real person they love.

Men are still not far from this problem, immediately a man starts getting a little income, he will be confused on this thing called love. Many will pretend to be in love just to end up his wife, few years later, you will now realize you are with the wrong woman. You have no choice to remain married in regret for the rest of your life or, get divorced.

Could it be that women going to school is just for fancy? Does it mean they cannot apply the knowledge they acquired from school, apprenticeship etc to make money on their own? Women's education no longer end in kitchen, women work, make money and also build a home.
