Wayne is said to have pointed the man out before the show, and apparently disliked the fan from the get-go, sending the bodyguards to harass him, however no one knows what the fan did to provoke such an attack.
The video, that captured the entire incident, was shot with a cellphone by someone above the scene, and shows the huge body guard make his way down the stairs, and give the fan two shots to the face, after which the fan falls to the ground.
A report in Vibe said the man may have tossed a beer at the rapper who arrived late for the show. Instead of arriving on time to do a 10.30 show, Lil Wayne arrived at 3am, to disgruntled fans.
According to NYdailynews, “Instead of starting the show, though, the “Lollipop” singer and his crew mostly hung out on couches, smoked and sipped cocktails while a DJ spun records. He later performed around two songs before taking off.”
