Arsenal Beat Crystal Palace 2-1 At Selhurst Park.

Arsenal has recorded their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.


Olivier Giroud got the opener with a wonderfully athletic finish from Mesut Ozil’s cross, but Joel Ward drew Palace level with only his second Premier League goal.


It looked like the gunners defensive frailties may return to haunt them, but an unfortunate Damien Delaney own goal gave Arsenal the spoils.

The victory, Arsenal’s first following their opening day loss, means they climbed from the bottom of the table, while palace remain sixth.

Arsenal suffered a 2-0 loss against West Ham in their first match in the Premier League, where the team boss, Arsene Wenger acknowledged his team’s poor defensive organisation.
