The South African Revenue Service confirmed, on Sunday, that it’s Customs officials had seized cocaine to the value of R2.1-million at the O.R Tambo International Airport on Saturday.
The suspect was stopped for a routine check where her two bags and back pack were searched and scanned.
Her back pack had a special compartment with white power that tested positive for cocaine.
The woman and the narcotics were handed over to SA Police Service for further investigation and prosecution.
